This scholarship was launched with a view to assist financially to those students who are meritorious and having 60% marks in the last qualifying exam.

How to Apply Online for SVMCM Scholarship
In this section, we will walk you through the registration and form fill up procedures for SVMCM scholarship.
Registration
- First visit official website svmcm.wbhed.gov.in.
- Next, click on registration at the top right corner. As shown below.

- A new page will open where instruction for application is given.
- Read the instruction carefully and steps to be followed.
- Scroll down to the bottom.
- A checkbox will be visible.
- Tick mark the checkbox to proceed further.
- Now click on proceed for registration button. As shown below.

Registration Form
This time, you will be displayed with registration category which needs to be chosen by the applicant as per his/her present educational level. For instance, if you are currently studying in higher secondary then you will have to choose Directorate of School Education (DSE) box and so on. As shown below.

Once you press apply for fresh application after selecting registration category, a new form will appear which an applicant needs to be filled out appropriately. As shown below.

Fill out the registration form with information as demanded very carefully. At the bottom of this application you will be asked password for registration.
Choose the password intelligently, so that no body can guess and write it down somewhere else for future reference. Because it will be required when you login again for filling out main application form. Below image shows the same.

Once you have completed this registration process, now it’s time to login again for final application.

- Now at the top right corner click applicant login. As shown below.

- A floated form will appear.
- Now type in your application ID you received in the previous stage.
- Again, insert the password you chosen at the pre-stage.
- Put in captcha carefully.
- Now hit the login button. As shown below.

Documents Required for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship
Following documents are required and to be uploaded by the applicant in JPG/JPEG/PDF file format along with file size should not be exceed 400kb. Only image and signature must be in JPEG/JPG format and size should be between 20kb-50kb.
- Mark sheet of Madhyamik or its equivalent.
- Mark sheet of last examination.
- Admission receipt.
- Income certificate of family.
- Resident certificate voter card/aadhaar card/pan card/ etc.
- Scanned copy of bank passbook.
